Introduction to sales channels

Afosto's order management system allows you to manage orders from various channels in a streamlined way, while also providing valuable insights through analyzed data. To set up a sales channel, follow these steps:

  1. Go to https://admin.afosto.app/channels and click on the "Add" button in the top-right corner of the page.
  2. Choose the type of channel you want to set up. There are four types available: orders, integration, storefront, and POS.
  • An orders channel is used for internal custom made orders, for example B2B orders
  • An integration channel is used for external sources that place orders for your business, such as marketplaces like Amazon.
  • A storefront channel is used for your company's website or other internal sales channels that need a customer interface
  • A POS channel is used for point-of-sale systems that are integrated with Afosto.

The type of channel you choose will determine the availability of different settings. Once you have selected the type of channel, you can configure the settings to suit your needs.
